Names come from the IOF ranking
The list of orienteers is taken from public athlete pages on the IOF World Ranking. If a name is here, that’s why, not because they signed up or are using OMatcher.Being on the list doesn’t mean that person has used OMatcher. You can add your name if you’re missing, or remove your name at any time.

Pick people in private
Select the orienteers you are interested in. Picks are encrypted, stored privately, and never shown to other users. If someone picks you, you are not notified unless you use OMatcher and submit names yourself.

Confirm it’s you
When you submit, two things are requested:- Your email — so an introduction can be emailed automatically if there is a match.
- Your Eventor International ID — verified once with a profile picture prepared on this site, so your identity can be confirmed.
Your Eventor password is never requested. After verification, this browser keeps a private token for that Eventor ID. Your email is only shared when there is a match.

A match is introduced automatically
If you pick someone who also picks you, an introduction email is sent to both of you automatically, so you can meet in real life. Computers are boring.
That’s it. Have fun!
